Due to some growth in our FM services in central Scotland we have an exiting opportunity to join our Facilities Management Team based out of Livingston.

**The role**
- General building fabric and cosmetic repairs
- Small electrical repairs (limited to unlicensed work) and re-lamping
- Plumbing repairs
- Basic repairs on doors, locks and windows
- Furniture/ artwork/ whiteboards assembly and installation
- Minor flooring works
- Other minor works that arise

In addition to addressing these on-demand services, there is a need to undertake a planned monthly maintenance inspection. Tasks required during this inspection include:

- Flick test emergency lights
- Fire alarm test
- Water temperature test
- Water flushing
- Emergency exit checks
- Building walk through and visual checks

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and customer facing skills.

We need an enthusiastic team player who can also use their own initiative with good problem-solving skills and an ability to work safely and deliver excellent customer service. You will have a professional approach to your job, with a good work ethic and good time management/organisational skills are essential.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Driving License essential
- Ability to work alone
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Facilities Management
- COSHH
- IOSH Working Safely
- Electricity at Work Regulations
- Understanding of Health and Safety Requirements
- Mechanically adept and can safely use tools and equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication. Experience using a CAFM system would be advantageous.
- Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes and equipment.
