Agricultural Machinery Parts Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Cockermouth Branch to join our Machinery Parts Department. Assisting with all duties within the busy parts department whilst learning about the business and attending college.

**THE JOB**
To join the team as an Apprentice Parts Assistant, employed full time whilst attending college on a block release basis. Working over an 18 month period to gain skills and experience, ultimately working towards employment as a fully trained Parts Advisor.
Work alongside a nominated mentor in the workplace, learning and assisting with all duties in a busy Parts Department. Including Stock Management, Retail displays and merchandising, customer service skills and parts identification.
Complete assignments at college and work towards successful completion of each module, culminating in achievement of the Trade Supplier qualification.
Attend nominated college on a hybrid basis (some remote learning and at least 1 block of face to face learning) for manufacturer backed Apprenticeship program including assessment in the workplace by learning advisor.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED**
**Essential**
- Written skills - proven ability to use clear, concise language specific for the purpose and audience.
- Willingness to learn and commitment to work-based learning.
- Desire to forge a long-term career within the Agricultural Industry.
**Desirable**
- Some mechanical/Agricultural experience desirable but not essential.
