Technical Service Engineer required for my client based near to Ipswich, who work within the food machinery industry of engineering. They are looking for a service engineer who can go and visit clients, across the country.

The successful Technical Service Engineer will report to the Calibration and Service Department and be part of the team that processes the servicing of the company's products.

**Technical Service EngineerPosition Overview**
- Traveling to clients for equipment inspections.
- Performing routine equipment maintenance.
- Calibrating equipment to industry standards.
- Installing new equipment
- Training customers on new and existing equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment failures.
- Conducting equipment repairs.
- Responding to client queries.
- Suggesting equipment upgrades.
- Maintaining calibration equipment and van supplies.
- Completing job cards and equipment reports.
- Completing site surveys

**Technical Service EngineerPosition Requirements**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an industry onsite technician (preferably food industry) and ideally to an international standard.
- Previous experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to travel long distances
- Competency with calibration software.
- Based within a commutable distance of Ipswich.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Technical Service EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 based on experience, skill and qualification.
- Full time position - Monday to Friday - onsite 8am to 9am to 4pm / 5pm.
- Located in the UK - based mainly in the Midlands for travel purposes. Headquarters in Ipswich.
- Van and fuel provided - sustenance allowance.
