**We have an exciting opportunity in North Somerset Council’s Personalised Commissioning Team for a Brokerage Assistant.**

**About us**

The Personalised Commissioning Team is very diverse and has a wide remit for supporting vulnerable adults within North Somerset, from purchasing and arranging services to meet their needs to supporting those that cannot manage their own finances. We work closely with our health colleagues and the voluntary sector,

**About the role**

This is a permanent role based at The Town Hall.

As the first point of contact for the team, this role will primarily require the individual to triage calls and where possible resolve the query, manage, and respond to enquiries into the team inbox and distribute referrals to relevant Officers. The role will include liaising with individuals and their families, internal and external partners and professionals, hospitals across the area and colleagues in the integrated care board. This is a fast-paced role and will require the ability to prioritise and organise effectively.

**About you**
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills to enable you to work with wide range of professionals and the public.
- You will be organised with the ability to problem solve, prioritise, and manage workload using your own initiative.
- You will be able to work as part of a team.
