Duty Coordinator - Options for this role are:
Role Option 1 - £300 per month - work from home only, typically working every other week - average 10 hours one week then a week off. Guaranteed salary Duty Coordinator On Call from home out of office hours.

or,

Role Option 2 - £1244per month - as option 1 plus working 4 x 9 hour nights during week off. Plus mileage pay.

Duty Coordinator works from home out of office hours to coordinate and deal with any issues or queries that are called in when the office is closed, such as late referrals, liaising with health organisations to ensure client safety, maintain service levels and provide telephone support for staff and clients as needed.

Coordinators are expected to cover each others holiday which must be booked in advance of the next year. Additional pay for holiday cover and extra duty cover.

Duties include;
- allocate available staff to any late referrals
- work with health organisations and provide service information for review
- call available staff to cover last minute staff absence, allocate standby staff to cover
- provide telephone support to clients or staff when required (you will need a good mobile phone signal from home to carry out the role)
- be confident to update and accurately use excel and company software
- ensure client safety and pay attention to detail with accurate records and reports
- access internet software via own internet provider
- attend microsoft teams video call meetings fortnightly during the day

We are looking for a supportive, kind and friendly individual who works well with others, has real compassion for people and who is confident in speaking to the public, health professionals and other care and support organisations.

Services we provide vary depending on the specific needs of the person we are supporting specifically End of Life Care, Home from Hospital (D2A) Assessments and Dementia Support, we provide services on behalf of the Local Authority and directly for privately funded individuals.

No experience is necessary for this position as we provide all training, development and support from the start, to further your career in the healthcare sector qualifications are available throughout your employment.

- Be reliable, kind and considerate
- Be able to record and complete reports accurately
- Be confident in using a smart phone
- Have a friendly can do attitude to support staff and clients.
- Be able to access company apps and online training modules.
- Have full use of a vehicle and have a full drivers licence (Role Option 2).
- Live in Somerset, UK
- Have the right to work in the UK

Immediate start available if you have a DBS with the update service, if not an enhanced DBS will be applied for on induction.
