**About the role**

**Location: Charlton Lane, Shepperton**
- This is a full-time permanent role working five days, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £22,756.50 p.a. / £11.67 per hour
- Full Training & Uniform/PPE will be provided

SUEZ recycling and recovery UK handles over 10 million tonnes of waste. Our company’s diverse activities are guided by a vision to engineer a society where there is no more waste. Part of these activities has been to open 5 Re-use shops in Surrey, helping to reduce waste and supporting local charities.

The Revive shops sell a wide range of pre-owned items that would previously have gone into landfill and are now being taken out of the waste stream and put back to good use.

**What will I be doing?**
- Serving customers and building relationships, including support and sales advice to ensure repeat custom
- Assessing the stock that comes into the shop, as well as waste flow, to ensure suitability for sale, making sure that prohibited/unsafe items are removed
- Working with the wider team to research stock items to understand their value, merchandise stock and create an understanding of what works well in the shop
- Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork
- Any other duties required to achieve the smooth and profitable running of the shop

**Role Requirements**
- You'll be working with members of the public every day so great customer service skills are essential. If you've got previous retail experience that would be advantageous
- A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required
- As you'll be required to visit other sites on occasion you will need to be able to drive
- You'll work well with others
