**JOB TITLE: FORKLIFT DRIVER**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform General driving duties safely, adhering to UK Highway Code. Requirements.
- Perform Forklift Driving duties in a safe and controlled manner.
- Operate Overhead Cranes in conjunction with job requirements safely and in a controlled manner.
- Care of tools, machinery & associated equipment.
- Visual checks on completed operations.
- Assisting other personnel in the workshop in performing & completing semi-skilled tasks.
- Good housekeeping & general laboring tasks.
- Perform all duties required within job role safely adhering to task risk assessments and SWM.
- To be courteous and professional in liaising with customer and delivery driver employees.
- Participate in company Lean Management and 5S principles.
- Methodical in approach to assigned work is essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and cooperate accordingly.
- Ability to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
- Adhere to the company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Participate in QHSE meetings and adhere to their content and message.
- Other duties for which the company deem are within your capabilities.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Clean driving license with appropriate license categories.
- Forklift Driving certificate to 16T counterbalanced trucks.
- Knowledge of local geography.
- Capable of working on own initiative.
- Methodical in approach to assigned work essential.
- Understanding company procedures, policies, and flowcharts for the job role.
