**Pay**:£88,364 - £119,133 per year (depending on experience and knowledge)

**About the Trust**

The Trust is one of the largest specialist mental health providers in the country, providing inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and addiction services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide visible leadership in specific pieces of work agreed with the other care group leaders.
- Work closely with the other care group leaders and members of the Salford and Trafford senior leadership teams to support the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality clinical services within the care group.
- Work with the other medical senior leaders in the developing and supporting the medical workforce, including leading on medical recruitment within the care group and working with others to develop new ways of working, including supporting overseas recruitment and the development of non-medical approved clinicians.
- Will lead local medical workforce meetings, and job planning across the care group.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Registered consultant psychiatrist with previous experience
- Registered with GMC
- Satisfactory record of CPD
- On specialist register or CESR holder
- Recognised management qualification (desirable)
- Experience of working at associate medical director (or equivalent) level within a mental health provider organisation
