The EPA and Exam Co-Ordinator, like all employees, is expected to act as role model for Dove Nest Group behaviours, to uphold the values and to encourage and promote the development of other employees.

**Role Purpose**

Your role will be to provide an outstanding service to apprentices, employers, EPAO’s and colleagues. You will be supporting all areas in the business with timely and accurate data, reporting and contract / funding compliance information. Ensuring learners are booked in for their Functional Skills and Qualification based tests as well as being responsible for managing learners through Gateway and their End Point Assessment (EPA). You will be central to the timely successful and smooth running of the business.

Your role as EPA and Exam Co-Ordinator will be to provide the timely booking of Functional Skills and other qualifications exams to ensure that learners complete all requirements prior to their apprenticeship Gateway. Once the portfolios have been quality assured you will be responsible for co-ordinating and liaising with the EPOA and the learner to ensure the timely completion of their EPA and the successful timely outcome of their apprenticeship. You will be a key administration figure supporting Tutor / Assessors by administering and accurately inputting data in the company Management Information System, ensuring the correct documents and records are recorded against the correct learners and generating reports as required across the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create the Exams schedule in line with programme, learner requirements, the Awarding Body and Company requirements.
- Manage the booking process for exams.
- Register learners with the appropriate Awarding Body.
- Book in and pay for exams where the learner is sitting at an exam centre.
- Ensure learners have timely and accurate exam joining instructions.
- Ensuring all exam resources and technologies are in place and operating correctly before exams are due to take place.
- To ensure the requirements of learners with reasonable or special adjustments are met.
- To ensure an invigilator is booked and assigned for each exam.
- To invigilate exams as and when required.
- To ensure invigilator reports and checklists are completed and filed accordingly.
- To ensure that the necessary documentation for learners requiring reasonable or special adjustment is in place.
- Where required to send incident reports to the Awarding Body in line with their guidelines.
- To log exam results onto the learner Management Information System.
- To organise all aspects of the EPA in line with the EPAO requirements.
- To communicate effectively between the learner, trainer/assessors and EPAO so that the EPA runs smoothly.
- To log the EPAO results onto our Management Information System.
- To send out certificates and assessment resources when required.
- To administer registers and attendance.
- Schedule and conduct mock professional discussions, project check in calls, presentations and interviews with learners before their live assessments.
- Have familiarity with apprenticeship pass descriptors in order to give learners feedback on how to improve their answers and/or presentations.
- Keep BUD updated with learner progress when in EPA. Liaise with LDS’s if any issues arise.
- Order and post qualification certificates.
- Maintain records on functional skills exams requested, sat and results.

**Experience**
- 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a customer focused service.
- Experience of working with Apprenticeship funding requirements and Awarding Body Exam requirements
- Highly accurate with and have attention to detail.
- Experience of working with high volumes of data entry.
- Highly organized, with the ability to plan and multitask various responsibilities.
- Experience of effective working in either an office environment or remotely.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision, to solve problems and use own initiative in-line with company / MIS policies and procedures.
