Litter Picker

Job Summary:
Hound Parish Council are looking for a part time conscientious and dedicated Litter Picker to join our team. The position is for 5 hours over the weekend split across both Saturday and Sunday. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness in designated areas by collecting and disposing of litter and debris.

**Responsibilities**:

- Walk designated areas to pick up litter and rubbish
- Empty bins and replace liners
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment used for litter picking

**Skills**:

- A full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent time keeping
- An ability to work in an organised and methodical manner
- A clean and smart appearance and the able to represent the Parish Council when dealing with members of the public

Ideally a willingness to work flexibly and provide cover when required is preferred, but this is not essential and ideally you will be able to start immediately following receipt of suitable references.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
