**The Company**

Brewster Partners are working exclusively with a globally recognised manufacturing company who are located in Sheffield. This historic company has progressively grown throughout the years through natural growth and acquisitions with an exciting future aheadfor the group.

They are looking at bringing in a qualified accountant who has manufacturing experience to be able to focus on the production line process. This role is a development role where you will be working closely with an influential CFO to gain experience of thenext level.

This role will have financial responsibility for their allocated division within the group, you will oversee end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and look to make improvements to procedures and controls.

**The Role**:

- Financial reporting, regulatory compliance and risk management
- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
- Oversee daily financial operations including Payroll, Purchase Ledger & Credit Control
- Maintain credibility and positive relationships with key external contacts (Banking, Insurance, Auditors, HMRC)
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Managing the annual budget process and monthly forecasting requirements
- Drive ownership of the divisional budget and rolling forecasts holding cost centre owners to account
- Support division in coordinating the Capex process
- Coordination of inventory counts to ensure compliance to internal controls
- Develop and maintain a strong controls environment ensuring good governance.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Develop and motivate the finance team to ensure that they are equipped to carry out their responsibilities

**The Person**:

- You will be a qualified accountant, with 3 - 5 years experience within manufacturing
- Knowledge of standard costing methodologies and variance analysis
- Knowledge of budget setting and monitoring
- A first class communicator/business partnering
- Energetic, can do attitude
- Experience of using Netsuite would be advantageous
- Ambitious to develop to be number within a finance team
