Programming & Partnerships Officer

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Visitor Experience team as a Programming and Partnerships Officer at Fermanagh. We are looking for a proactive, creative colleague to plan and co-create an exciting year-round programme of visitor engagement and participation opportunities for our visitors.
This role will be based at Florence Court but will also work across all the properties within Fermanagh including Castle Coole and Crom.
This is a fixed term post for six months (until 31st March 24) with a contract of 37.5 hours per week.
Weekend work will be included within this post, this can be discussed more during the interview stage.
What it's like to work here:You will be working as part of Visitor Experience team across the Fermanagh portfolio to support inclusive and engaging experiences.
Whilst you will be out and about visiting the different places, you will also be busy planning our programming and events offer for each property within Fermanagh, whilst working with other team members to make this happen.
What you'll be doing:You will help us put audiences at the heart of our programming through building on our existing programming and events offer. You will be working to design and deliver seasonal programming activities for the everyday visit, but also developing new and exciting event highlights - creating a buzz and encouraging repeat visits.
You will have to be great at balancing a busy workload with priorities around the portfolio and keep our stakeholders, both internal and external informed and engaged.
You will be passionate about creating experiences that welcome everyone and widen our audience, ensuring that diversity and accessibility are a strategic priority.
This is a key operational role, and you will be part of the duty management team.
Who we're looking forTo deliver this role successfully, you will need:
- Experience of delivering activities, events and public engagement within the arts, culture, heritage, natural environment, sports, or visitor attraction sector.
- Experience of building partnership relationships and working in collaboration with community or commercial partners.
- Experience of working with and supervising volunteers.
- Strong organisational skills including setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of an audience-led approach and the ability to evaluate impact and use feedback to further develop an offer or event.
- To be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills with an adaptable and hands-on approach.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
