**Job description**

Full-Time Warehouse Operative to assist the smooth running of the warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting in the warehouse, picking and packing of orders, booking in daily deliveries and putting stock away.

Unloading containers of incoming stock

Assisting with set up and breakdown of exhibition stands at various regional and national shows. You will need to have your own vehicle to travel to the shows (fuel expenses will be paid by the company) and you will need to have occasional weekend availability. This may involve very occasional overnight stays in hotels (accommodation will be paid for by the company). You will be paid overtime for any hours worked outside the standard contracted hours (Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm).

**Skills/Qualities Required**:

- Counter Balance Forklift licence preferable
- Solid history of experience in warehouse work
- Good Communications Skills
- Sound Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Customer Focused
- Team Player
- Able to be flexible if working hours demand
- Computer Literacy - a bonus

**Job Type / Category**

The work environment is mainly warehouse based but you will also be required occasionally to travel around the UK to shows to assist the team setting up and breaking down exhibition stands. This will include very occasional weekend work. You will be reimbursed for travel expenses. The product is indoor and outdoor furniture which can be large and heavy with some pieces. A good sense of organisational skills is essential to ensure the orderly flow of goods inward and outward.

**Salary**: From £25000 per year + Overtime

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday / 08:30-17:30 with very occasional weekends & overnight hotel stays

- Eastbourne, BN23 6NY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
