- Administer anaesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anaesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation of anaesthetic procedures and patient responses
- Assist in the management of medical emergencies during surgical procedures
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection prevention control protocols
- Provide patient education regarding anaesthesia procedures and post-operative care

'''Qualifications'''
- Degree in Anaesthetic Practice or equivalent qualification
- Current certification as an Anaesthetic Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to anaesthesia
- Proficient in basic life support techniques
- Experience working in a hospital or ICU setting is preferred
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £15,908.22-£56,236.64 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Taunton: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Experience**:

- anaesthetic: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- HCPC (required)
