**CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR**

**Salary**:£22,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience

**Location**:Hybrid role with 2 - 3 days a week in our Bournemouth head office

**Hours**:37 per week

**Primary Job Purpose**:
As a Contract Administrator, your purpose is to support the Contract Manager in ensuring McCarthy Stone Services, and consequently our customers, receive the best possible service from our suppliers and third-party providers to guarantee optimal delivery and value for money.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Contract Manager with supplier management, including proactively preparing for, an participating in, regular supplier reviews
- Monitoring the performance of suppliers against SLAs
- Managing and coordinating insurance claims
- Capture commitment for national contracts/suppliers in internal systems
- Capture commitment for small/local contracts/suppliers in internal systems
- Contracting supplies for new sites
- Maintaining, updating and improving contractual records (including ensuring local suppliers have agreed to and returned our standard T&Cs)
- Addressing queries from Operations team within agreed timescales and resolving queries at source (based on volume and business priority) to create a ‘self-serve’ culture

**Other general responsibilities**:

- Maintain and improve standards and consistency by keeping up to date and operating within the latest defined standard specifications, using the approved documentation, process, systems, and source information to ensure consistent and effective performance
- Always fully comply with McCarthy Stone’s policies and procedures
- Actively engage and collaboratively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder’s experience and qualifications as may be required for the smooth running of the business

**Relationships**:

- Work with all key business stakeholders and functions - these include Services Operations, Property Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Procurement & Legal
- Develop key external relationships as required to better manage suppliers and contracts

**Health and Safety**:

- Act in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures and ensure that you are:Trained and competent to carry out work properly and do so

Familiar with, understand and discharge any allocated safety responsibilities
Provided with adequate information, supervision and equipment to allow their duties to be undertaken in a safe manner
- Immediately stop any unsafe activity until adequate measures have been taken to remove the risk or reduce it to as low as possible, seeking advice from the H&S team as appropriate.
