Our client, the UK’s leading Stalking and Harassment Charity, is looking to recruit a Stalking Advocate to join their growing team of Stalking experts.

The client is a well-respected VAWG charity who provide comprehensive support and advocacy services to victims of violence and work tirelessly to ensure their clients remain at the heart of the service.

You will be working for a growing charity who has been responsible for the education of lone and frontline workers, has campaigned heavily and played a pivotal role to drive changes in the law, has supported over 50,000 victims and survivors of stalking, and has always had the aim of tackling violence against women and girls at the core of what it does.

**Synopsis of duties**:

- The overall purpose of the role is to provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking.
- Provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers where necessary.
- Support the Stalking Support Team Leader and Helpline Manager where required.
- Carry out robust risk assessments and safety planning for clients, along with advice and information regarding stalking legislation.
- Work closely with a range of partner agencies and provide advice and guidance to victims, other professionals and friends/ family

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience supporting victims of stalking and harassment, crime, domestic abuse and/or sexual violence
- Experience of advocating on behalf of clients and over working with partner agencies and professionals to ensure clients are fully safeguarded and supported
- Strong safeguarding and risk assessments skills and experience

Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency.
