We are currently seeking a Repairs Manager to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to provide day to day supervision to the Maintenance Team including Responsive Repairs and Voids and Planned Maintenance.

**About the role**

Within this role your main responsibilities will include:

- Recruiting, retaining and allocating resources to provide responsive maintenance and voids services within performance targets
- Procuring, administering and managing subcontractors and contracts undertaking responsive repair and void works
- Ensuring that responsive repairs policies and procedures are developed, updated and communicated effectively throughout the business
- Ensuring that data is recorded and maintained accurately and efficiently to provide costing information and business intelligence
- Monitoring and managing performance of the teams
- Supporting and developing the management team and trades colleagues with technical information and updates
- Ensuring that health, safety and wellbeing policies and procedures are embedded and adhered to
- Hold a construction related qualification or equivalent experience
- Be results driven with strong analytical skills
- Have the ability to plan resources effectively
- Have a keen eye for detail with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines
- Be a strong communicator
- Be capable of formulating new business proposals and managing risk
- Have the ability to plan workloads to achieve targets and deadlines
- Have an in depth understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates and with knowledge of HHSRS
- Have experience within the building industry, ideally working within a customer focused housing repair and maintenance or planned works team
- Hold a full driving licence
