Tarmacer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a prefferably experienced Tarmacer to join our team. As a Tarmacer, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to tarmacing and road construction. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth learning experiences.

**Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces for tarmacing by removing existing materials and debris
- Operate tarmacing machinery and equipment, such as pavers, rollers, and compactors
- Lay asphalt or other materials to create smooth and durable road surfaces
- Ensure proper compaction of materials to achieve desired density
- Repair damaged road surfaces by patching or resurfacing
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Tarmacer or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of tarmacing techniques, equipment, and materials
- Ability to operate tarmacing machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

**Skills**:

- Upselling: Ability to identify opportunities for additional services or upgrades during the tarmacing process
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate with clients or supervisors
- Phone etiquette: Professional phone manners when interacting with clients or answering calls related to tarmacing projects
- Data entry: Basic data entry skills for recording project details or maintaining records
- Analyze: Ability to analyze road conditions and make informed decisions regarding tarmacing techniques

- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Pay: £90.00-£110.00 per day

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
