Chardome is a bespoke, high-end kitchen company and furniture maker in Cambridge that designs and crafts beautiful spaces, and the bespoke fittings and furniture within them. As experts in kitchens, furniture making and home renovation our team creates rooms and items of outstanding quality that stand the test of time.

As the company continues to expand, we are looking for a full-time experienced cabinet maker to join the team.

The role of the experienced cabinet maker will include but not limited to the following:

- Competent in set up/operation/maintenance of a variety of woodworking machines such as, power saws, planer, spindle moulder, drum sander and edgebander.
- Competent in set up/operation/maintenance of power tools and hand tools to manufacture cabinets and high-grade furniture
- Safe use of all machines and tools complying with the company PPE and H&S regulations
- Confidently work though cutlist for panels and solid timber to ensure accuracy and best use of stock
- Study and interpret drawings throughout manufacturing and installation
- Working independently from start to finish on a project while overseeing junior/apprentice cabinet makers
- Mark outline or dimension of parts on paper or timber stock, according to drawing specifications
- Select and match materials for colour, grain, or texture
- Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, using clamps
- Sand and prepare surfaces and joints ready for finishing
- Install appliances and hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer runners
- Full training will be provided on our processes and manufacturing stages

40 Hours per week

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
