Sheridan Maine is working in collaboration with a Hampshire based practice to recruit a Lead Bookkeeper/Accountant.This is a newly created position that will lead a team of bookkeepers and accountants.
The role would ideally suit someone who is studying towards their accountancy qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA) or even newly qualified and is an exciting opportunity to develop one’s skills and see good career growth.The company offer study support if required.
**Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper/Accountant will include**:

- Manage, coach and develop the team
- Lead on the day-to-day provision of bookkeeping and accounting work
- Review of the bookkeeping carried out by the client
- Assist with accruals and prepayments
- Assist with maintaining fixed asset registers
- Assist with VAT returns
- Payroll duties

**Office based - Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.**
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
