Process Design Engineer

Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established client in the Alfreton area who are recruiting for a Process Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Competitive salary dependant on experience and upon interview

**Primary Responsibilities**
- To work in a department of multi-disciplinary engineers having process, mechanical and software backgrounds
- To develop and improve design method for company products
- Provide site work and commissioning support to include commissioning, troubleshooting, equipment health checks, internal and client HAZOP'S, site acceptance testing, risk assessments and method statements, and the subsequent production of site visit andreports as required
- Produce control philosophies, installations operation and maintenance manuals, equipment and noise datasheets, SAT/FAT and procedures
- To interface with external stakeholders, including supplier visits, customers visits and presentations, site visits, attendance and presentations at exhibitions, training providers
- To provide support to other departments including the projects, mechanical and research & development teams with the generation and review of reports, engineering calculations, functional design specifications and other technical documentation as required
- To adhere to health and safety, departmental qaulity assurance and procedures
- Any other duties as required that are commensurate with this level within the organisation, along with deemed by management to be within the post holder's capabilities

**What you will bring to the role**
- Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills with the ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely to the company and its stakeholders
- A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering and basic knowledge of the requirements of other engineering fields
- Competent use of process engineering software such as HYSYS
- Competent use of other relevant software such as MS office suite
- A general understanding of local and international standards such as ASME, NACE
- Substantial technical and practical experience in process engineering, working in multidisciplinary projects and teams

**Education/Experience Requirements**
- A recognized and relevant Engineering Degree
- 2+ Years experience in a similar role
