The BI Implementer primarily supports the Unlock pillar of the strategy

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role Lead BI Implementer

In this role you will be
- Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

- Support the build of outcome driven Visualisations and Metrics that unlock the value of data through storytelling
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders (e.g., Product Owner) to architect the user design solution
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders (e.g., Product Owner) to facilitate and participate in inception workshops to create a shared understanding of user needs and the potential technology solution required to deliver to these needs
- Ability to comprehend and translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs
- Ability to develop high volume, low latency solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices to deliver effective Qlik Sense data solutions
- Lead data discovery, assessment, analysis, modelling and mapping efforts in Qlik dashboards
- Conduct performance tuning to meet the acceptable threshold of response time in Qlik dashboards
- Oversee designs interactions by organising content and functionality in support of user goals, guided by user behaviour and principles of Information Architecture
- Work with multiple customers and stakeholders on projects'
- Develop strong understanding of business domain, its strategic direction, functional goals, and the required technical expertise
- Drive innovation for self and the team to deliver incremental business value.
- Demonstrate adequate level of business knowledge
- Demonstrate acceptable standards of productivity.
- Contribute towards the quantifiable process improvement goals of the team

Web and Mashup development is a required for this role. Your responsibilities will include:

- Build client-facing UI and back-end services for Qlik mashups and extensions.
- Guide junior team members on how to build mashups.
- Code, test, and operate Qlik Sense extensions and mashups

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Skills/Experience Required:

- Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is advantageous
- Excellent creative skills and ability to visualize complex concepts and turn it into user friendly solutions
- Excellent skills in building data modelling layer in Qlik Sense to support dashboards
- Excellent skills in optimization of loading extremely huge amount of data
- Excellent understanding of data modelling, dimensional modelling and experience of working with large data sets
- Very good understanding of Qlik Sense mashups. HTML/CSS. Angular/React. QS Visualisation libraries.
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of front-end development using Qlik Sense
- Development and bug tracking tools (Jira, Confluence and GitHub)
- Banking domain experience is a plus
- Experience in other BI/Visualisation tools such as Looker and Tableau is highly appreciated but not a must.
