Golf Co-ordinator

Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel are recruiting for a Golf Co-ordinator with Sales Acumen to join our expanding team. This is a diverse role, where no day is the same, and we are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, a friendly and likeable character with strong sales acumen and previous Golf Co-ordinating experience to join our expanding team. In return you will get:

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- The relationship and management of our existing members - our members are very important to us, ensuring they have a positive membership and feel at home and happy with us.
- Selling and Arranging the bookings for Golf visitors who are staying in the hotel, including mini breaks, stay and play and Golf Societies, Corporate Golf Stays and ensuring they feel at home and looked after during their stay and being their main point of contact.
- New membership sales and trials and the sale and on boarding process this is a targeted role with a commission structure for New membership and membership retention along with a Get in to Golf campaign to attract new members.
- Gaining positive Golf Reviews on Google, Facebook and Trip Advisor
- Coordinate with green staff regarding work required
- Course members & green staff meetings
- Overseeing and coordinating with the Golf Pro shop
- Arranging Equipment such as buggies, score cards, tee signs etc
- Tee sign sponsorship sales
- The updating of BRS Golf.
- Attending the Mens and Ladies monthly committee meetings
- Leading the Golf Department and making positive improvements in all aspects of the coordinating role.
- Taking other enquiries for the business as and when required and creating function sheets.
- Building a relationship with England Golf and Launching Get in To Golf Campaigns

Salary 23-27K OTE

Hours: Flexible including weekends.
