Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established Financial Services business that is looking to recruit a Management Accountant/Analyst. This ever-growing company based in Gloucestershire offers an attractive benefits package, hybrid working anda friendly and inclusive working culture.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant/Analyst include but are not limited to:

- Assisting in preparing the annual Business Plan
- Projecting annual budgets and forecasts
- Provision of financial analysis and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
- Reviewing the planning and management accounting models and processes with a view to developing and improving them
- Establishing and maintaining financial models and financial information for the company
- Developing and testing spreadsheet models used within the financial management of the business
- Providing support to the finance functions when required
- Monthly preparation and consolidation of management accounts and Board level reporting
- Building strong working relationships with the wider business, key stakeholders and external bodies
- Liaison with external and internal auditors
- Presenting and influencing senior leaders on Financial and Strategic development
- Deputising for senior Finance leaders when requested
- Provision of accurate reporting, enabling the analysis of options and make financial recommendations
- Provide insight into business performance against competitor and industry trends

The successful Management Accountant/Analyst:

- Nearly qualified or part qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Experience of a Management accounting function
- Proven experience with financial analysis/ business planning and modelling to develop scenario planning capability
- Experience of introducing new processes, systems and models
