**Location**:
**UKAEA, Culham and UKRI, Harwell**

**Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week**

**Job Type: Full Time/ P**

The Laborer will:

- Carry out general labouring duties
- Carry out planned and reactive works as required within the agreed times and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and clients specifications
- Work either as part of the project team or reactive maintenance teams completing small maintenance tasks under the instruction of a local site supervisor
- Be able to carry out works as per agreed timeframes ensuring practical completion is achieved as scheduled
- Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including installation of building fabric fixtures & fittings, replacing lamps, installation of containment & cable, replacing sanitary ware etc.
- Manage & replenish local site stock
- Make deliveries of material between sites and local suppliers
- Be responsible for site waste management
- Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
- Cutting & coring of access holes
- Patching & Painting
- Fire Stopping
- Be responsible for overall site welfare duties
- Be comfortable working at height

**About You**:
**Essential Criteria**
- The ability to independently get to site each day.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Current full UK drivers licence
- Knowledge of the Trade/Building industry
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card
