**Position**: IT Manager
**Hours**: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend working where business needs arise

This role will lead our IT team and take responsibility for both our hardware and software infrastructure whilst implementing service standards as well as common systems that are informed by industry best practice. The role will deliver an IT SupportService that is efficient, effective, and adaptable to changing circumstances as well as working closely with our Senior Management team to identify opportunities for improvements and develop the trusts ICT policies & procedures.
**What will you need?**
- Proven experience in a similar role providing end user, server, and network support
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Products - Office 365, Windows 10, Windows Server, Active Directory, AAD and Outlook/Exchange
- Ability to analyse technical problems and communicate potential solutions to end users
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Anti-Virus software and routing
- Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure operations including log analysis, firewall and IPS monitoring and Internet content filtering
- Experience of managing computers and file permissions using Active Directory
- Knowledge and experience of diagnosing faults and undertaking basic hardware installation, repair, and decommissioning
- Sound knowledge of GDPR, copyright and data protection laws and requirements
- Experience of installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and incident management
