We are looking for an experience Internal Auditor for our leading client. The role of Internal Audit will be to provide high quality audit assignments in accordance with recognised professional audit standards. This involves audits and reviews assessing the governance, risk and controls over all operations, projects processes and systems from across the company. **The Internal Auditor will**:

- Determine and perform the scope of work for individual audits and reviews.
- Prepare and issue key deliverables including terms of reference and audit reports.
- Identify audit recommendations, negotiate acceptance of these with clients and track their progress.
- Provide guidance to key staff within the company to encourage and enable them to improve their processes and controls.

**About the Internal Auditor role**:

- Provide high quality audit assignments in accordance with recognised professional audit standards.
- Simultaneously undertake several large and / or complex audit assignments across the company
- Liaise and meet with staff at all levels to perform the audits.
- Determine the scope of work for individual audits in conjunction with the applicable director or senior manager.
- Prepare and issue key deliverables including terms of reference and audit reports.
- Identify audit recommendations, negotiate acceptance of these with clients and track their progress.
- Provide guidance to key staff within the company to encourage and enable them to improve their processes and controls.

**The Team**:
The internal audit service is an independent function that provides an objective assurance and consultancy service. It aims to help the company accomplish its objectives by evaluating the effectiveness of its risk management, governance, operations, and internal controls. The role of the internal audit service is to undertake audit work for the group as agreed with management and the Audit & Risk Management Committee (ARMC). The service helps to promote and support the company's improvement and efficiency by evaluating governance, structures, projects, policies, processes, systems, and controls.
The Group Internal Audit Manager is the head of the internal audit service, reporting to the ARMC and the Chief Financial Officer.
