Experienced Conveyor Belt Fitter

This is a full time permanant position. 38hours /week, Monday to Friday.

The position requires working alone or small teams to install, repair and maintain conveyor belts, particularly within the North West.

A minimum of 2 years experience is required in PU/PVC belt vulcanising. Rubber belting experience is desirable but not necessary for this position.

We operate a 24 hour breakdown service and you would be expected to be on call every 4th week. Flexible working is required as jobs may start before or finish after the normal working day. In addition some weekend working will be required

Overtime is paid for any additional hours worked. OTE will be in the range £35-£38K

Identify requirements and the necessary resources for a given task.

Work to a high degree of accuracy during the various stages of manufacture, installation and maintenance.

Able to use own initiative and formulate practical solutions.

Is reliable, hard working, trustworthy and courteous.

A UK driving licence is required.

Your own tools are required.
