We are looking for an enthusiastic mailroom officer to assist with the provision of a comprehensive post room / Hybrid mail service at the Council’s Lewis House office in Bath.

Accuracy in sorting and distributing large volumes of internal and external mail within stated deadlines is essential. The job requires good communication and customer care skills and involves general office administration work e.g. scanning, filling, photocopying and letter packing.

You will be required to support the management of a hybrid mail solution, attention to detail is key.

This job requires you to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be working under tight deadlines and juggling multiple tasks at once. The ability to prioritise and stay organised is essential to keeping up with demands of the role.

You must have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), and good IT and administration skills. The post will be based primarily in Bath although you will be required to work in either Bath & Keynsham as required, sometimes at short notice (reasonable travel expenses will be paid).
