**Job Title: Buyer**
**Location: Westcott, Aylesbury**
**Salary: £30,000**

**Overview**: We are looking for Buyer who will report into the Procurement Manager and support the procurement function to achieve business goals for our client

**Duties**:

- To buy materials and services at best competitive pricing in accordance to required quality, quantity, delivery instructions, and other business requirements
- To investigate alternative suppliers offering equivalent goods on cost-effective terms
- To create and release RFQ/RFP for new product and service requests received from different business departments
- To negotiate the prices with business partners to ensure and achieve price competency
- To fulfil all the prerequisites before releasing purchase orders to the suppliers/ service providers
- To coordinate with suppliers/ service providers for timely delivery of goods and services
- To compile and maintain purchasing master data and records in the SAP system
- To make proposals for Category Plan with support of the procurement manager

**Requirements**:

- Relevant academic qualification(s), ideally CIPS or equivalent
- Ability to work under pressure and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated negotiating skills and knowledge of supply chain management
- Knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP Business one
- Able to interpret drawings and Bill of Materials.
- Assisting Procurement manager in achieving departmental annual KPI and cost reduction strategies
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with business partners
- To work closely with the Inventory team and other stakeholders to fulfil business needs
