Recently acquired by new investors, the company has a plan to triple in size over the next 4-5 years, so this is an exciting time to join the group with scope for the accounts payable & receivable team to grow as we expand our footprint across England and add more homes to our portfolio**

**Reporting to**: Senior AP Clerk/Financial Controller

**Job Purpose**: To provide accounts support to the finance team and wider business with all aspects of accounts payable and purchasing

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- To ensure all purchase invoices are coded and approved correctly in accordance with set approval levels for all homes
- To ensure petty cash reconciliations are carried out accurately each month
- To ensure that all invoices received correctly account for VAT
- Setting up manual payments as requested by Home Managers
- Respond to queries and look after the AP inbox
- Ensuring all purchase documentation is correctly recorded within the accounts system
- Setting up weekly payment runs for all entities, as well as ad hoc payments outside of this
- Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable requests as requested by any member of the senior management team

**Skills Required**:

- Effective team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Good, clear communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Demonstratable payables experience/knowledge
- Knowledge of Sage 200 a bonus
- Ability to be able to manage a high volume of work effectively
