Equipment Delivery Officer

**Job description**

We are looking for an Equipment Delivery Officer to assist the Community Equipment Team in South Tyneside area.

As an Equipment Officer, you will support the business in delivering and demonstrating pieces of equipment to assessed customers, as well as assisting to carry out repairs when necessary and collect equipment when it is no longer needed.

**The Role**
- You will be Collecting and delivering equipment (Disability Aids) within South Tyneside area
- Driving and assisting with vans as well as working as a drivers mate
- Cleaning and assembling equipment
- Demonstrating equipment often to the elderly
- You will be entering customer properties
- Working week is 5 out of 7 days. Working every other Saturday on rota

**The Person**
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Be able to lift and load equipment
- Have excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- A positive caring outlook and enabling attitude
- Have excellent written and communication skills
- Enjoy a challenge and be flexible in your approach to work
- Must be able to pass a DBS
- Ideally have a good geographical knowledge of South Tyneside and surrounding areas

**Salary**: From £10.79 per hour

- Driving Licence (required)
