**Title: Production Operative / General Operative**

The Best Connection has an exciting opportunity for a **Production Operative**, working with one of our clients based in Stafford Park TF3 area, Telford with starting pay **of £10.42ph**, however this will increase to** £11.44ph** as from 1st of April 2024.

**Details**:

- Working hours 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
- Pay £10.42ph increasing to £11.44ph from 1st of April 2024

**The key duties of the role include**:

- Setup of the laminating machine, performing safety checks, and ensuring the proper materials are in place.
- ** Laminating and/or gluing products**:

- Achieve maximum production output whilst still maintaining defined quality standards and minimum waste.
- Selection, movement, and stock control of all materials used in the manufacture process.
- Maintain highest standards of cleaning and housekeeping in relation to machines, immediate work area and production facility.
- Other duties, as required, that would reasonably be allocated to a Gluing Operative

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- Good hand skills
- Have a positive "Can do" attitude to everyday operations and continual improvement initiatives.
- Attention to detail, a keen understanding of materials.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
