This is a specialist day school that combines the best elements of a mainstream education with the unique specialist and therapeutic input for students aged 11-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs, including those who face communication and behavioural challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions. This incredible special needs school is seeking an Individual Needs Assistant to join the school from Easter 2023 on a full time, permanent basis. This role is needed to work 1:1 with a secondary learner who has recently transitioned to the school. This school is truly praised in the local community for its commitment to put every students' needs first, the school believes that once they understand every child and their individual and specific learning styles, they can make the most impact now and for the future and help every learner achieve their full potential and reach for the stars. With Students taught in classes of less than 8, with a standard staff ratio of 1:3 this is a fabulous opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children that have previously struggled to access and enjoy education.

- Supporting SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training eventsshow more
