**Job Title**: Supply Chain Projects Lead

**Reporting to (job title)**: Senior Supply Chain Manager

**Job Summary**

Managing multiple Supply Chain related projects and providing updates to the SLT and wider teams.

Projects include (but not limited to)
- facilitating the return of slow/non-moving and excess stock to suppliers, in line with the Supplier return agreements as agreed with Category Management Team
- reviewing customer consignment stock across the network leading to the invoicing of all Non-Moving stock as part of the customer agreement

A significant part of the role is engaging with key stakeholders to ensure all actions are taken to remove inventory from the business whilst following company procedures.

**Key R**esponsibilities**:

- compiling and consolidating reports using multiple systems to ensure detailed analysis is provided to key stakeholders of the inventory
- building/maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- working closely with the warehouse teams to action the returns to suppliers via the K8 (ERP) system
- validating and improving system data to enable optimum stock replenishment
- orderbook management, expediting orders
- support RMF’s/POD to resolution
- respond to branch queries

In addition to this, providing support to Supply Chain team, where required, which may include covering Material Controllers and other team members when on annual leave.

**Competencies Required**:

- Working to strict deadlines
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and internal departments
- Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to meet required deadlines and performance standards
- Demonstrates the ability of being able to maintain and improve effective working practices
- Demonstrates a flexible attitude towards work and is able to respond to business priorities appropriately
- Effective communication skills that allow the individual to communicate at all levels
- Able to pass on knowledge to other team members

**Skills and Experience**:

- Computer literate
- Awareness of continuous improvement opportunities
- Effective time management/ prioritisation skills and be able to work under own initiative
- Methodical in approach
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good communicator
- Very good data processing skills
- ERP system knowledge especially Kerridge systems would be advantageous
