We are looking for a committed care worker to assist an adult female with a history of suffering from Psychosis, but now looking to re-develop social skills and establish a healthy routine, to prepare her for independent living in the future.

**Meet our service user**
Our service user is a woman in her early 30s who lives in her family home in Langley. She is largely able to support herself, but you will be required to support her on a largely 1:1 basis throughout the day and prompt her to ensure she observes good hygiene and eating habits.

Throughout the day, you will be required to assist her enjoy her hobbies, interests and accessing social activities, such as working out at the gym, going for walks and visiting the cinema. She has an interest in Psychology and may require your encouragement to stay on top of any training courses she is completing.

Whilst at home, she enjoys reading books and listening to music however we would like to promote more social interaction to avoid isolation, so it is important to engage her in regular conversation.

She also enjoys an opportunity for a pamper session, including manicures, pedicures and getting her hair done.

**Essential Experience Required**
- Personal Care Experience
- Enhanced with Barred List DBS Certificate

**Other Useful Experience**
- Dealing with Psychosis/Schizophrenia

**Shift Pattern**
- Part Time Days
- 4 weekdays per week
- 12:00pm - 4:00pm

**Start Date January 2024**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
