**Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Trainee

Location: Eggborough

Chemdose Limited, a specialist chemical dosing company working within the Water Industry, based at Eggborough.

We currently require Mechanical Fitter Trainee to join our manufacturing and installation team.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, fast growing

company with a genuine offer of employment in a diversifying environment.

The successful Mechanical Fitter Trainee will be both situated at Eggborough, and site based around the UK. You will be building dosing systems at our premises and work on water and waste treatment sites across UK so must be willing to travel and lodge away.

Main Job Requirements: As a Mechanical Fitter trainee, you have studied or be completing an NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds in pipefitting or plumbing course you must be 18 years or over.
- Installation of various pumps utilised within the water industry.
- Installation of ductile iron, mild steel, stainless steel, UPVC & dual-contained
- Installation of isolation, non-return, pressure relieve valves etc. and fittings
- Installation of Screening equipment, filters, distributers, penstocks, kiosks, dosing rigs typically found within the water industry.
- Installation of steel fabrication, bracketry, hand railing etc
- Delivering the installation to meet the programme of works during construction phase.
- Working with the installation team, project managers and site supervisors, ensuring accurate records are kept in line with agreed standards.

Skills and Qualification: Organisation and time management skills. NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds in pipefitting or plumbing desirable or equivalent transferable skills or relevant experience.
