Responsibility for defined inpatient bed base (approximately 15 inpatient beds). With associated support of junior doctor team on the ward.
Two sub-specialty sessions in nephrology. It is expected that one of these sessions will support the establishment of an ambulatory clinic, to support reduction in length of stay and admission avoidance.
Contribution to the Internal Medicine on-call rota (including weekend working), currently on a 1 in 10 basis.
