Night Shift Melt

We are looking for Night Shift Operatives to work in our clients Foundry Department.
This is a full time and long term role that will require commitment and training over a few months to be able to learn how to run our furnaces, crane drive and pour molten metal into our moulds.
Full training will be provided and all PPE will be given for the particular role.
Your role will include:

- Working on the furnace melting charges of metal to a melting procedure and health and safety guidelines at high temperatures.
- Overhead crane driving with a ladle with molten metal in it, collecting it and driving it to the moulds that needs to be cast.
- Operating the ladle full of molten metal and pouring into sand moulds - this includes following instructions and procedures.
- Manual handling
- Coating
You will be working Sunday - Thursday: 22:00 - 06:00 - £12.50/hour
