We have an exciting opportunity for a Golf Course Marshal to join our Golf Club; you should be able to deliver amazing hospitality and thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You should have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with club members and guests.

As our Course Ambassador, your main responsibility will be to help manage the flow around the golf course, and maintain the pace of play. Providing a warm, personable nature; you will also be responsible for ensuring that dress code and course etiquette standards are maintained.

**Key responsibilities for the Golf Course Marshal are;**
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs at all times, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
- Marshall the golf course to ensure acceptable speed of play and golf etiquette is abided to by all golfers.
- Check course is fit for play.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness, standards and presentation of the 1st tee and starter hut.
- Ensure that all golfers are displaying the necessary identification in order to gain access to the course.
- Ensure that golfers are wearing the appropriate dress wear as per the clubs dress code policy.
- Observe and monitor pace of play of golfers to ensure they maintain position on golf course.
- Answer golfer questions about course, such as game rules, course length, amenities, course conditions and cart rules.
- Ensure that all golfers tee off on time and everyone has signed in/paid a green fee prior to play.
- Be responsible for the supervision & safety of guests and members of the Golf Club in accordance with Company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain lines of communication with the golf desk to ensure efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure golf buggies are available and maintained accordingly.
- A keen golfer with knowledge of the game
- Be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Have previous experience in a guest facing role
