We are looking for friendly qualified person to join our team. We have been established at this site for more that 22 years and its an excellent environment to work from. We are based in retail park directly opposite Leyton tube Station. We have free parking for nursery staff.

You have to have good knowledge of Childcare Development and have experience working with children under 5's.

The Nursery Practitioners will be working as Key Worker for the daily needs of children between the ages of birth and five years within the Nursery setting

**Qualities and Experience Required**
NVQ Level 2 or 3, NCFE Level 2 or 3, NNEB, Early Childhood Montessori or equivalent qualification, with experience in working in a Nursery or School. You will need to be flexible in regard to hours of work and motivated.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:Formulate and operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children attending the Nursery in conjunction with the Manager. Carry out regular observations on children and report back to the Parents. Work alongside parents of special needs children and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate. Support all staff and engage in a monthly staff meetings. Liaise with and support parents and other family members. Undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, for example, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment. To attend out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff meetings, parent's evenings, summer fate and Christmas activities. To be flexible within working practises within the setting. Monitor accidents/incidents in the rooms and record them and report them to the Manager. To respect the confidentiality of information received and stored. To develop your role within the team. Participate in the training programme of a wide variety of students (i.e, placements and volunteers) by giving guidance and support. Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the ethos and vision of the company is fulfilled. Plan and set up activities that are stimulating and age appropriate, this also includes display boards in line with Early Years Foundation Stage.

Have a good knowledge of Safeguarding Children and adhere to the Polices and procedures of the Company. Aware Health and Safety requirements.

Willingness to undertake additional training is necessary.
