**Accounts Assistant : Hybrid Working : Borders**

**Salary £28,000 : £32,000**

W&A are delighted to be partnering with a brand new client as they expand their finance team from London into Scotland.

My client is an ambitious firm based in London with a friendly & sociable team looking to expand due to exciting growth. This role mainly provides accounting and finance support to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing invoices for payments and entering into general ledger
- Issuing invoices, logging them and entering into general ledger
- Processing all expense claims (mainly via credit/debit cards)
- Initiating payments via bank internet access, for Scotland-based investments
- Performing daily bank reconciliations
- Assisting the preparation of various regulatory reporting statements/reports as required
- Assisting in audit process as required
- Liaisons and develop good and effective relationships with various stakeholders
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required

**Person specifications - desirable**:

- Experience in transactional finance (accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations)
- Good understanding of accounting and finance processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Sage accounting system experience

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
