Childminder Assistant

Energetic person needed to assist in a small friendly childminder setting. Helping babies and toddlers learning through play, while looking after their needs and supervising them to keep them safe.

What you need for the Childminding assistant role:

- Minimum 1 year experience working with children
- Ideally hold a level 2 minimum in Childcare.
- Sound knowledge of EYFS.
- Organisational skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive individual that loves working as a team.
- Experience of working with children.
- DBS check

Responsibilities of the childminding assistant include:

- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Punctuality and attendance.
- Organising activities.
- Observation and carrying out EYFS statutory paperwork.
- Being fit and active.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Nappy changing.
- Lunch/snacks duty.
- Housekeeping.
- Promoting best practice in the childcare setting.
- Effectively supporting team members.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.05-£13.89 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (required)
- Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
