**Job Description**:
Location: Milton Keynes
To provide strong leadership to nursing and AHCP team
Enable the teams to deliver high level of service by demonstrating excellent clinical knowledge
Provide support and advice to frontline staff delivering services.
Management and leadership of nursing and AHCP team under the direction of the Regional Lead Nurse.
Act in an advisory capacity to nurses in the healthcare settings on issues pertaining to quality and safety.
Act as an advisor regarding clinical issues and the implementation of guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.
Work in collaboration with other teams in the healthcare setting, nurse consultants, specialist nurses, community matrons, PCNs and other services to deliver the long-term condition agendas.
To monitor service delivery issues and develop plans to improve service.
Act as an advisor regarding clinical issues and the implementation of guidelines and standards within national service frameworks & working closely with all stakeholders.
To work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure all targets and KPI’s are met to improve service with collaborative working.
Ensure that regular team meetings including Health care assistants are ready.
To be considered for this role you must have:
First Level UK registered nurse / Registered AHCP with at least 2 years post qualified experience
Nonmedical Prescriber
Evidence of continuing professional development
Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links
Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams
Understanding of the Lead Role
