**Secondary Design Manager**
**Location**:Stafford
**Compensation**:£55,000 + bonus
**Role Type**:Full Time. Hybrid working options

We are delighted to be supporting this Global Engineering organisation and supplier of Renewable Energy with the appointment of an experienced **Secondary Design Manager**to lead a geographically diverse team on various projects.

**What will you be doing?**

As **Secondary Design Manager**, you will act as the Technical Guarantor of the proper performance of design work conditions in your field of activity.
To include:

- Taking responsibility for the design budget, deadline and quality, in line with customer expectations
- Leading a team of Designers, Sub Contractors, Engineers working on protection and control schematics and substation equipment
- Promoting ease of installation, operation and maintenance of the system

**The experience you'll bring**
- Relevant degree - electrical or mechanical
- Engineering experience ideally in Project and EPC type environment in Transmission & Distribution, Power or Oil & Gas
- Experience of managing external subcontracted design work packages of various sizes
- Technical project management experience, preferably in a multi-disciplinary team
