Guinness Property are pleased to announce we have taken over the delivery of all repairs and maintenance services for The Guinness Partnership across all their Southwest estates and have many new permanent opportunities.
**About the role**
We currently have a vacancy within Guinness Property for an Empty Homes Inspector on a Permanent Basis. Reporting to the Service Manager you’ll be required to carry out property inspections prior to and on completion of Empty Homes work across Bristol, Bath, and Weston-Super-Mare.

- **Permanent contract, Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm**:

**What we’re looking for**
We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be a fully qualified and experienced Empty Homes Inspector, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to provide a high-quality service in compliance with relevant procedures and legislation.
**Skills / Experience**
**Essential**:
- Up to date knowledge of building construction, repairs, and safety legislation.
- Up to date knowledge of housing sector best practice and relevant legislation.
- Experience of repairs/EH management information systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Experience of delivering a high-quality service.
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of Schedule of Rates job specification.
- Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
**Desirable**:
- Experience of recording data accurately onto handheld devices.
- Experience of working as part of a team who deliver front line services.
- Extensive knowledge of building maintenance technical operations
**Essential Qualifications**
- NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade
