_**Do you have fundraising experience?**_

Torfaen Sea Cadets is a volunteer-run youth development organisation. We offer young people aged 10-18 the opportunity to experience life-changing adventure. Torfaen Unit is looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to join its Unit Management Team (UMT).

**About the volunteer fundraiser role**

**Skills & abilities**
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Numeracy and statistics skills
- Basic research skills
- IT skills to include use of Microsoft suite
- Ability to read and understand guidelines
- Ability to identify potential funders for projects
- Ability to engage with local businesses and organisations
- Ability to attend UMT meetings monthly for 1-2 hours
- Ability to engage with regional / national fundraising team for prospects
