Apprentice Lithographic Printer

As part of a significant investment program, Compack Cartons, part of the McLaren Packaging Group, is growing its business in premium and luxury packaging for the food and drinks sectors. With the goal of becoming the UK’s leading supplier of sustainable premium and luxury paper-based packaging, the company is looking to recruit talented and passionate people join the team. Due to this we have an opening for 2 apprentices to join our team as Apprentice Lithographic Printers.

Within this role will receive full training working within our experienced team and you will also have the chance to develop your skills throughout to allow you to complete and achieve formal qualifcations.

**What will I learn?**

You will also learn about the essential quality checks we have in place to ensure that our products are always completed to the highest quality, in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.

There will also be the opportunity to gain an overview of other areas of packaging manufacturing including Pre press, Die Cutting and Finishing.

What qualification or qualities are required?

You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement.

You should be educated to a minimum National 5 level, ideally in Maths and English, and be enthusiastic to learn and develop within the workplace.

A can do attitude, allied to a positive attitude to learning is essential.

**Salary**: £7.00-£9.50 per hour
