We have an opportunity for a Night Shift Transport Supervisor to work as part of an established team within their Swindon depot.

**About the Transport Supervisor role**:

- Working hours are Monday to Friday 20.00pm to 05.00am
- Pay rate is £32,000 per annum

**Transport Supervisor duties will include**:

- Effectively utilise all company systems to ensure maximum efficiency
- Place vehicles on bay in readiness for loading. (Off peak only)
- Liaise with despatch to confirm next day volumes
- Adjust/plan routes including any additional to maximise vehicle fill where possible
- Plan supplier collections
- Allocate drivers to routes including agency drivers where required
- Create despatch load & driver trip sheets & complete driver packs
- E-mail stores to inform of changes/amendments to original schedule
- Liaise with despatch to confirm loaded vehicles
- Check loaded volumes on Microlise against original load plan
- Brief outbound drivers to ensure they have correct packs/paperwork & keys
- De-brief drivers to ensure that all issues are fully captured, to include delivery, vehicle defects/damage/VOR and any system issues

Download of driver’s digital tacho cards whilst managing of Drivers hours including WTDComplete all data inputting for both outgoing and inbound drivers
Ensure all defects are managed and resolved/planned
Plan vehicle/trailer service inspections/maintenance/MOT’s
Complete any sickness reported/absence/back to work interviews in

**Key Skills / Experience required for Transport Supervisor role**:

- MUST hold a valid UK driving license (C & E Entitlement on License) for vehicle yard movements.
- A good knowledge of all Transport Legislation
- Good PC skills - Excel and Word
- A good Geographical Knowledge of the UK road network
- Required to be flexible with a ‘can do attitude’ including shift changes to meet operational demands
- A good understanding of current WTD and Tachograph legislation.
