Does a permanent late shift work around your home life commitments better than a rotating shift? Due to consistent growth of their business, this market-leading national organisation is recruiting for several mechanics at their Glasgow workshop. The positionsare to work in their fleet workshop on a range of HGVs and trailers, joining a friendly team in a well-equipped, safe workshop; with ongoing training on new vehicle products, good earning potential and fantastic benefits which are detailed below.
The role:
- Service, maintain and repair customer fleets of HGVs and/or Trailers, depending on your skill set
- Working a permanent back shift with an early finish every Friday
- Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment
- Basic salary is between £40-43.5k depending on experience and qualifications, overtime is available - most of their technicians earn £45-50k+ pa.
You should:
- Be a fully qualified vehicle technician, HGV technician or trailer mechanic with NVQ level 3, IMI apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 2, or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Have good experience of working as a mechanic on a range of HGVs or Trailers
